The Falling Stars
Monolithos is well known being the favorite place of the “falling stars” in Rhodes. A group of Astronomers have a set a telescope at Saint Amvrosios Chapel in the village, from where they observe the planets and the amazing rain of stars mostly during August each season.
Many said that while experiencing this intense phenomenon during the night with hundreds of stars falling on them, they felt as like they had nothing else to wish for.
